Night.
Liam, bag over his shoulder, walks in one direction.
Long pause.
He stops, turns, walks in another direction.

A boy goes where people tell him. He just wants to do right by everyone, because then life will be okay. Won’t it? Please say yes.
A London odyssey. And a theatre.

Come out of school and they expect you to work for free?
You think I’m going to bust my arse on some training course when there ain’t -
When there ain’t nothing at the end of it, the fuck is that?
